Gaudiya Kirtan 1.2.0

On this most auspicious day of Śrī Gaurahari’s divine advent, we introduce the Gaudiya Kirtan app (beta).

We are in the initial phases of this extensive project. Version 1.0 is scheduled for release on February 11, 2021. Expect frequent updates in the upcoming days and months with new features and enhancements.

• What's included in this initial beta release:

• 700+ BHAJANS: Discover the timeless kirtans of esteemed ācāryas such as Śrīla Bhaktivinoda Ṭhākura, Śrīla Narottama dāsa Ṭhākura, and Śrīla Rūpa Gosvāmī. More bhajans will be continually added to the app.
• LOTS OF AUDIO RECORDINGS: Alongside the bhajans, you will find diverse authentic melodies to guide your singing. Some recordings are purpose-made for this app, while others are sourced from dedicated devotees.
• FUZZY SEARCH: Effortlessly search for songs even with slight misspellings. The results show up instantly upon typing.
• SUGGEST NEW SONGS: You can recommend any missing songs for inclusion in the app. As long as they are authorized and available, we will strive to add them. Submit your requests to [email protected].
• MULTIPLE LANGUAGES: Enjoy songs in Bengali, Hindi, and English. Additional languages like Russian, Spanish, Oriya, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Panjabi, and more will be integrated soon.

Note: We are addressing issues like 'v' appearing as 'b', missing hyphens in songs, and refining search result order.

It is our aspiration that this app fosters confidence in those hesitant to sing aloud with kartālas; engages those curious onlookers to participate; and offers companionship to kirtan enthusiasts.
